Rhythm Interactive Show

Today we had a wonderful show where we learnt how to use the drum. Everyone had their own drum. 230 drums sound terrific together.

Today Kane noticed Connor working hard and using good thinking during the game of chaos. He said that you were running very fast!

Such fun with our big buddies

Every week we have wonderful activities with our big buddies. Today we had to dodge balls while crossing over the crash pads. We quickly learnt some clever strategies.

Player of the day for Finn

This week Finn was chosen as player of the day for the Town and Country league game. Mr Martin said, "Finny the man who never backs down in a tackle, physically small but has a massive ticker." We are so proud of you Finn.

Sugar and Spice with Brianna

Today Brianna told us about the fun she has at the Sugar and Spice group. She made this beautiful head band. What fun!

Look what we received in the mail

Caitlin's Grandma has sent us a calendar from Devon in England. Thank you so much. She has also made up a song for us that we are learning. What a great Grandma!

Our Sam Sunflower is now 122 cm tall. Connor was wondering why the leaves at the bottom are dying while the leaves at the top look very healthy. Can you help us?

Assembly item

As part of our mixing and melting science unit we have been mixing paints. We shared our work in assembly and even invited some of our big buddies to come and try to paint our made up colours. We finished our item by singing Jamaican Farewell and Linstead Market.

Pirate the Cat

Pirate the cat has been writing to us again. Do you know that we are the only class in the whole wide world that has a cat that sends comments to our blog? I think he lives near Connor and Laurie. Think of a question you have always wanted to ask a cat. My question Pirate is why do cats hate water?

Town versus Country League Game

Laurie, Mr Martin, our sport's co-ordinator noticed you at the match on Tuesday. He said, "Laurie and his iron shoulder are not to be messed with." Gosh, keep shining Laurie!

Hooray the Pool is Open

Great news the pool is finally open again. You can buy a pool key from the school office. Thank you to the parents that keep the pool clean. We are looking forward to swimming lessons.
