What a day for a picnic!
Today we walked down to the rugby grounds for our Junior Syndicate picnic. As a special treat a magician visited and performed some amazing tricks. We loved his juggling. Before coming back to school we all had an iceblock. What a great day!

We wish you a merry Christmas
Today we made our class Christmas tree. It is beautiful. We all drew around our handprints and coloured them green to make the tree. We even have Mr Marshall's handprint in our tree. Merry Christmas everyone!
Bartleby's Buttons
We all love Bartleby's Button on the Ipad and now we have Volume 2. This morning there was a lot of discussion around the Ipad.
Another flag for you!
A beautiful flag this morning that many of you might remember from the Rugby World Cup. Who will find out first?

These chords are easy!
Both guitar groups played through some favourite songs today especially our Christmas songs. Then it was chord practice for Bridgette and Charlotte while everyone else practiced their finger picking. Thank you Ella Rose for helping today.

What great friends
Go boys go
This game is called light the candle. What a great friend you are to help me get away from Fynn!
We play this game once a week with Mrs Bellamy. It is absolutely fun playing this game.
Thank you Andrew for helping me run for this game. From Hunter
I was exhausted but I didn't give up. When we went into class I was very thirsty for a drink! From Andrew.

Three goats and a huge bag of seeds!
It was so exciting adding up our money - $175.40. It was much more than we had hoped for. We will be able to buy 3 goats and a huge bag of seeds.
We were all tired after all that hard work so we sat down and shared our new treasures with each other. Can you see Andrew and Jacob's new hats? Rylan bought a special transformer torch and Demi showed us how her bubble mix worked. Mmm... what have you got in your bag Kerah and what are you looking at Ethan?
What a celebration!
First thing this morning we moved everything to the hall and set up our tables.
Everything is ready. All we need now are the customers!
Gosh, what a lot of people and what a busy time we had selling our toys.
Right through the celebration our busking group kept returning to sing our recycling songs. What a wonderful Summer Celebration!

We are ready for the Summer Celebration
Our plant pots are ready and they look beautiful. Today we spent a long time sorting through the toys that we are going to sell. There was a lot of discussion about how much each toy was worth. Our unwanted toys will become someone else's treasure. We are ready for the Summer Celebration and we have even organised buskers to provide music!
A new flag to discover
Mr Larkin has put up a new flag. Which flag detective will be the first to discover which country flies this flag? It is a much colder country than New Zealand.
Railway tracks
Today the boys competed against the girls in the railway tracks event. The two teams were very close but the boys finished first each time. Next time let's have the Year 2s competing against the Year 3s.

Our plant pots are finished
Finally our plant pots are finished. We have decorated them and added a label so that people will know they are made of recycled materials. Now they are ready for the plants. How beautiful they will look.
Cool Pots
Me, Jacob Liy and Charlotte decorated our plant pots . There were lots off colours like blue, green, pinky red and silver and gold. They were sparkly. Now they need to dry for the school fair.

What a treat!
On Friday afternoon it was our turn to watch the Dance Group present three items. It was a wonderful performance and of course Meg and Evie from Room 9 were part of it. The dances were beautiful, the costumes were stunning and we felt very, very special being there. Afterwards we had heaps of questions and comments for Evie and Meg.
