Yum!
Tayla's Mum made Christmas biscuits for us and today we iced them and decorated them with marshmallows. Kylie and Charlie, our senior students, helped us at lunch time. Everyone said that they were delicious. Thank you Tayla's Mum!
A special visitor
Today we were very pleased to have a visit from Ollie's dog called Cocoa. Ollie's Mum and Dad brought her in to share with us. She is beautiful and she loved our singing. Thank you for sharing her with us.

What a busy day!
We are nearly at the end of the term. Today we started with a free swim. Oh what fun! At lunch time it was the final session of the Garden Club for the year and of course fresh vegetables were harvested. Then this afternoon we had our final assembly and said farewell to the leaving students and staff. The choir sang beautifully and senior students thanked the leaving staff. In Room 9, we finished the day by sharing our favourite songs.

Mealtime for Dan's pitcher plant
Last week I brought my pitcher plant to school. It had it's first meal. It was a fly. I'm glad I don't need to eat flies!

We are swimming again!
We are so lucky to have a swimming pool at school and now that the weather is warmer we are enjoying working at our swimming technique. We even had time today to make a whirlpool.

We wish you a merry Christmas
Today we made our class Christmas tree and it is beautiful. We traced around our hands many times and used different shades of green to add colour. All the hands have made this tree. We even have Mr Marshall's hand. The final touch was to turn on the lights. Well done everyone!
Magnificent Matilda
Matilda has just completed a science challenge. We looked in awe as Mr Marshall shared Matilda's work with us. This afternoon at assembly Matilda received her certificate. I wonder if anyone else will take part in the science challenges next year?
PCT Challenge
Today it was our turn to take part in the PCT Challenge and it was fun. A complicated series of tasks was in place on the courts and in teams of four we raced through the challenges. We had to co-operate and work as a team.
