The Lion's reading group made hungry hens

After carefully reading the instructions, the Lion's reading group made delightful hungry hens. They worked with great independence helping each other when needed. Well done children!

A huge picture

This picture shows a rabbit burrow leading to the outside world. Gabby and I have spent at lest three weeks on it. On Friday I shared our picture with the class but it was quite sad that Gabby wasn't there to share it with me but I think the class was quiet interested in the picture.We have been working very
hard and we spent all of our lunchtimes and playtimes on it. If you are willing to spend all of that time on a picture like ours we can help you to make it great!

We are all thinking about the Little Blue Penguin

This morning Briar arrived with a poster asking people to keep their dogs on a leash. This will certainly help the little Blue penguins at Brighton Beach. Well done Briar!

What brilliance!

Gabby, Rosa, Nick and Luke have all solved the "Drive Ya Nuts" puzzle. It is very challenging and they certainly had to persevere and show determination. Well done bright sparks!

We are proud of you Will and Angus

Will and Angus have completed an Accelerated Language course and on Friday in assembly they shared some of their writing. We felt very proud of them and we clapped enthusiastically when they received their certificates and pencils.

We love the Allen Centre

As usual there was plenty of activity in the Allen Centre on Friday. Rosa shared her huge rabbit warren that she is drawing while Luke explored the dinoscope. Of course there were games of chess with Nick acting as a tutor and of course there was a lot of serious reading going on.

We're training for our sponsored run

We have decided to have a sponsored run to raise money to help the Little Blue Penguins at Brighton.  We were all fit after the cross country races but we are now building up our fitness again. Soon we will bring our sponsor cards home.
