A great Speech Night!
We were very proud of our Year 3/4 children who prepared and presented their speeches. Tonight we were able to watch the finals and see Liam and Finn shine. Well done boys and well done Finn for getting second place!

It is Peace Week
It is Peace Week and there was great activity in the Allen Centre today as origami paper cranes were made. Heidi even managed to make a tiny miniature paper crane. On the 100th anniversary of the declaration of World War 1, it is good to take part in Peace Week.
Daffodil Day at Outram School
Today to celebrate Daffodil Day we dressed in yellow. At lunch time many of us took the option of ordering a Subway lunch. We hope there was a good donation towards the Cancer Society.

Thank you Regan and Nick!
This morning Regan and I found two milk bins. They were covered in sand. We went to the work shop and washed them . The sand was not coming off. We washed them again and the sand came out. Finally we dried them.

Speech Day is nearly here!
We have all written our speeches and now they have been typed out. Our homework task this week is to memorise our speeches. This afternoon everyone was busy practicing their speech with a partner. I wonder who will be ready to present their speech tomorrow?
The Middle Syndicate practice their hockey skills
Today Room 9 and Room 10 joined together to practice their hockey skills and have a game. We learnt to push and stop the ball. These skills were very useful when we had a game.

A new art project
Today we began a new art project. First we sketched fish and then we covered our fish sketches with brushing wax. When they dry, we will use dye to add colour and then we will be busy with needle and cotton. Mmm it all sounds interesting.
