A huge visitor comes calling
The other day Nana came to our house with a stick insect and I brought it to school.Everyone thought it was very cool. Then Mrs Wright let it out because it didn't like being in a bottle. I know where it was released!

We wish you a merry Christmas
Today we made our class Christmas tree and it is beautiful. We traced around our hands many times and used different shades of green to add colour. All the hands have made this tree. We even have Mr Marshall's hand. The final touch was to turn on the lights. Well done everyone!
Magnificent Matilda
Matilda has just completed a science challenge. We looked in awe as Mr Marshall shared Matilda's work with us. This afternoon at assembly Matilda received her certificate. I wonder if anyone else will take part in the science challenges next year?
PCT Challenge
Today it was our turn to take part in the PCT Challenge and it was fun. A complicated series of tasks was in place on the courts and in teams of four we raced through the challenges. We had to co-operate and work as a team.

The Seniors present their CO2 race cars to us
There was great excitement in the hall this morning as we watched the seniors race their co2 cars. The speed was terrific as the cars raced two at a time across the hall. Thank you to everyone who provided this great entertainment for us.
Delicious strawberries and hard work!
Picking strawberries is a very happy activity especially when you can pop one or two into your mouth. Then the hard work really began as we did the weeding and planted peas and runner beans. At the end we were able to eat all the strawberries. What a happy time we had at Garden Club!
