After playtime we did a rubbish hunt in the playground. Oh no! Look how much we found. When we sorted the rubbish we found that most of it was glad-wrap and plastic wrappers. What are we going to do about it? We all washed our hands very carefully!

That is pretty awful, isn't it? So glad you all washed your hands.
Plastic rubbish is a problem, even if you put it in the rubbish bin. Do you know why?
What can you do about this rubbish problem?
How many people in Room 9 have NO Gladwrap or plastic bags in their lunch box?
Could you think of ways to help mums or dads wrap things in paper or in containers that can be used again?
Why might that be difficult?
Could you have an Outram School NO PLASTIC Day? (Would you starve?)
