Shapes are important when building a strong bridge. Today we tested out different paper shapes to see which was the strongest. First we placed wooden cubes on a flat piece of paper to see how many the paper could support. Next we did the same with an arched piece of paper. Finally we glued the flat paper to the arched paper and again counted up how many cubes the paper could hold. The last combination was the strongest.
