Ready for action!

Today Emma brought along her new guitar. Already she knows A chord and we all sang as she played "Row, row, row your boat." Remember Junior Guitar Club meets on Wednesday lunchtime. See you there.

The Big Bounce

Today was the last Tuesday of the year. It was the best Tuesday of the year. Time to bounce. It's fun to do!

Super space stamps

On Tuesday I brought my Dad's stamp collection along because it had super space stamps. The stamps are for if there is trouble in space. But! my Dad didn't go into space. My Dad got it for his 9th birthday. Ever since then Dad has been a mad collector.

On Wednesday I go to sketching. I like sketching because we draw from books and from our imagination. We have two kind people that come to help us sketch.

A play from the Koalas

On Friday the Koalas reading group presented their play about the Hare and the Tortoise. We retold this story in writing not long ago. How many differences did you find children?

An xray for Emma

This morning Emma brought along a photo of the xray of her sore thumb. How strange that Emma was reading a story called, "Bones on the mend" in her reading group today. We are very glad that your thumb is not broken!

What great progress Emma

Every week Emma goes to the sketching group in the Allen Centre and now her little brother Jacob has joined the group too. She is working on a sketch of a zebra and we are looking forward to seeing it when it is finished. What a fine artist you are Emma.

Another Visitor

Today Emma brought her beautiful budgie to spend the day with us. We put his cage by the window so that he could chat to the wax eyes. He loved our singing and recorder playing and even sang to us. What a musical well cared for budgie Emma.
