My letter

Hooray my letter was here. Henry,George and Harriet have been in Fiji.They were swimming every day.They live in Auckland. Henry is 11.

Wow have you seen a tui's tongue?

After play time we we went to the library for library time. Dylan brought a dead wax eye. Then Mrs Steadman went over to the staff room and got the a dead tui out of the freezer. We looked at the tui's tongue and saw the brush on the end of it. The brush helps it to get heaps of nectar to drink. Here is some thing to try at home. If you find a dead bird at home take it inside and try and hold it up against the window and spread its wings out. You will see that the colour disappears. You can also wrap the bird in newspaper and bury the bird in the ground. Wait for three months and then when you dig it up you will be able to see the skeleton.

My Secret Place

Last week I was playing at the stone play ground in some trees and my secret tree base which is two trees - the biggest tree and the smallest tree.
