Olivia's Mum and Dad are away and her Grandma has come to stay. Today she came in to school to collect Olivia and Luke. Tonight they are going to have a special fish and chip meal together. What great family connections!
I won this trophy from soccer because I attacked the ball. It was terrific . I get to keep the trophy for a whole week.
I am learning guitar this year with Mrs Wright and another girl. I know six chords now. My favourite song is "When my aunt came back." 
Yesterday Olivia read the story, "You can make a Happy Cake," in her guided reading session. Look what she walked into the classroom with this morning! We were all so impressed with Olivia and her family and it tasted delicious. Thank you!
We have made up two characters - Sad Sid, who doesn't know about healthy eating and Healthy Harry who does. We decided to make up a menu for a picnic lunch that would be good for Sad Sid. First we brainstormed ideas in buzz groups and then we shared our ideas. Tomorrow we are going to make our Sad Sid picnic lunch and take it down to the park to enjoy. Olivia wrote up the shopping list for us.
