A story from Willow

Today Willow brought along a story to read to us. She read "Titus's Troublesome Tooth," beautifully. We have been singing a song called "Old Morgan's goat" and the song reminded Willow of this book. Thank you Willow.

Using a potters wheel

Nudibranch clay work

We are all very interested in nudibranch, underwater shell-less snails. On Friday many nudibranch were made from clay in the Workshop. Who can find out more facts about nudibranch for us?

Willow likes Bill Peat

I think "The Gnats of Knotty Pine" is cool because they have a meeting where they all gather up and they all share their ideas and vote who's idea is the best. They want to be safe from the hunters. You will be surprised who helps them.

Please be careful everyone

We had to be especially careful with Willow's diorama because there were parts that could break. The good news is that nothing got broken.

What a busy lunchtime

There is always plenty to do at lunchtime. Joel, George and Mason made rockets in the Allen Centre while Annalise, Emma and Erin practiced netball on the courts. Riley A, Willow and Erin practiced with the kapa haka group in the hall while Trampus, Trent, Ben, George and Jacob made bird treats with Mrs Meehan in the Workshop. What a great school we have!

Double Bubble Maps

Today we did a double bubble map to compare Arthur Street School and Outram School. There were lots of similarities and lots of differences. Well done Willow.
