Today we talked about air pressure. It is all around us. We filled a glass with water and placed a card over the top. Then keeping a hand on the card the glass was turned upside down. Then the hand was taken away and look what happened! The air pressing up against the card stops the water falling out of the glass. Air pressure is very powerful even though we cannot see it.
