The Art Exhibition

Today my picture was in the hall from sketching at the Art Exhibition. It was water painting. It is a funny looking tulip. I put two pictures in the hall. This is my best picture in the hall. Reporter: Keziah

What fabulous finger picking!

Last thing on a Wednesday afternoon, the Guitar Club love to share their new learning. Today we learnt how to finger pick. Look at Charlotte carefully picking the correct strings - 5132, 5132, 5132. When they have played the pick 100 times it will be perfect!

Keziah's Taieri song

Our Extra for Experts challenge on Friday was to make up a song about the Taieri. We listened to some great songs. Why not try singing Keziah's song to the tune of "Twinkle, twinkle little star."

Flow Charts are easy peasy

Today we learnt how to make a flow chart. We followed the steps we took to make our healthy lunch. What else could we use a flow chart for?

A perfect day for a picnic

We walked down to the Skerries Street playground singing as we went. We found shade and enjoyed our healthy lunch. After a play we walked back to school still singing as we went. What a perfect place for a picnic.

Flower Show art

Today we had our first session in the Workshop to prepare our art for the Flower Show. First we studied flowers and made sketches of them. Then we did our final sketch and used pastels and dye to add colour. We will finish them next week. They will look great!
