Tyla's sunflower

Last year Tyla was in Room 9 when we planted sunflower seeds. Last week she sent an email and enclosed a picture of her sunflower now. Gosh, well done Tyla. You have done so well.

At the school prize giving Tyla was chosen to receive the Kelly cup for the student in the Junior Syndicate who best demonstrates our school challenges. You are terrific Tyla!

Early morning visitor

Every Friday morning we have spelling testing. Everyone has their own words and we need parent help to do all the testing. What a surprise for us to have Tyla's cousin as one of our testers. Thank you so much for helping us.

A new friend for Tyla

Ducky is now part of Tyla's family. Her Mummy found Ducky when she was out walking. Where does she sleep and what are you feeding her Tyla?

Oh no!

When Tyla was reading through her pile of garage sale books she found an Outram School library book tucked into her pile. Oh no! It must have happened on sorting day. Now it is back in the library so all is well. Thank you for being such a good book detective Tyla.

From Trash to Treasure

What could you make out of a plastic bottle? Look at these treasures! Ella-Rose made a vase and a funnel. Gabby and Riley made plant holders and Tyla made a buzzing bee. This week our challenge is to turn egg cartons into treasure.
