A fossil expedition

What a huge ammonite we saw at the museum. Imagine seeing this in the ocean!
We all went on a fossil hunt! We climbed on the bus and spent the day at the Otago Museum. What fun we had. We even made a Hollyosaurus fossil and a Calebosaurus fossil to bring back to Room 9 where we continue to shine!

Dear Mr. Tillerman that is an ammonite because they told us. You can't eat an ammonite but you can eat pumpkin. You better make sure that you eat the right thing!

Saylah, you are quite right! I looked at the picture again with a magnifying glass and YES it is an ammonite! Well done for correcting me. You make sure you keep speaking up when you know you are correct.

I wish I had a pumpkin the size of that ammonite, I would make it into pumpkin soup --- mmmmm pumpkin soup is nearly the best soup in the whole world.

Gosh! I don't think I'd like to imagine coming across an ammonite in the ocean. It may make a hole in my boat!
