Looking for a new tooth

Connor's first tooth came out at school today and it didn't even hurt! In Room 9 many children have gaps in their mouths. I wonder how long it will take for the gap to fill Connor?

Anonymous said...: When my tooth first got wiggly I felt like it was going to hurt lots, but it finally it came out when it was ready. It didn't even hurt at all! When I got home another tooth fell out but that one started bleeding a wee bit, but it didn't hurt. Next time when a tooth gets wiggly it won't hurt so I won't worry about it.

The Key Competencies

This term we are focusing on the Key Competency of participating and contributing. First we talked about Gregory Smith the remarkable boy who has made a significant contribution to helping children in need around the world. Next we talked about brilliant Bridgette who is setting up a book swap initiative based on the Lilliput Libraries. The book swap will be open Thursday and Friday. What a great contribution Bridgette! We then talked about the wonderful contribution our parents make to Outram School. We are very excited that the new recipe book will be launched on Sunday. Then we talked about Aleisha Cotton and Kelsey Hoggard and the wonderful contribution they made to some schools in Samoa. We looked at examples around Outram School where we have seen children participating and contributing. This week we looked at the contribution that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is making.
