I love the deep blue you are painting,Erin. Is it called "peacock blue"? I can't wait to see all the Room 9 birds of many colours.
I also loved seeing Emma's peacock feather the other day. It reminded me of one day when I was at the aviary in the Gardens in Dunedin. The man who looks after the peacock cage poked a beautiful feather through the cage for us to keep. I wonder, do you know what it is called when birds lose their feathers?
