It is already winter and leaves have fallen. There is no shelter for the birds.

Dear Erin, It certainly is Winter on this Southern part of me. The birds are having a problem finding shelter and enough food to stay alive. Mrs Meehan's idea for a bird feeder is wonderful. A pine-cone can have one more use, giving the birds some food. Then when that pine-cone finally drops off its string to the ground, what will happen to it?
I liked Anna's idea of a book about re-using and reducing - just one more way you have thought of to give your message to others.
I am very, very thankful to all the shining stars in Room 9 for the way they are caring for me.
