Christmas in the Allen Centre

Today Mrs Steadman shared with us some beautiful Christmas craft activities. We are inspired to try them. There will be lunchtime sessions in the Allen Centre with big buddies to help us. Gosh Outram School is the best! Thank you Mrs Steadman again!

Tyla said...: It is nealy christmas I can not believe it is nealy chrismas. Mum made advente celanders me and Noah have a line each. We get treats in them each day till chrismas we have had 2 now because yesterday and today. Yesterday I got a pear of sooks and a choclate santa. The Key Competencies

This term we are focusing on the Key Competency of participating and contributing. First we talked about Gregory Smith the remarkable boy who has made a significant contribution to helping children in need around the world. Next we talked about brilliant Bridgette who is setting up a book swap initiative based on the Lilliput Libraries. The book swap will be open Thursday and Friday. What a great contribution Bridgette! We then talked about the wonderful contribution our parents make to Outram School. We are very excited that the new recipe book will be launched on Sunday. Then we talked about Aleisha Cotton and Kelsey Hoggard and the wonderful contribution they made to some schools in Samoa. We looked at examples around Outram School where we have seen children participating and contributing. This week we looked at the contribution that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is making.
