What fun we had!

Today was Beach Education day at Brighton Beach and what a wonderful day we had even though it was a bit chilly. Jules and Zoe led excellent sessions on sea and sun safety and then they led us in some great beach games. We also made sand castles - this shark was voted the winner! Then it was time to enter the surf. Well done everyone for braving the waves and thank you to our wonderful parents!

Wow, Room 9, you are so brave going into that c-o-l-d water!
I love the shark, especially his fierce, pointy teeth.

What a great day at the beach. The children all learnt about water safety. We had a great time running in the water, even through it was quite cold.. brrr, we made the most of the lovely big crashing waves. My best part was seeing Hunter win the rolling race down the sand, getting to the end mountains ahead of the other children.
