We made a rain gauge

Today we all made a rain gauge. We used a plastic 2l bottle and cut off the top quarter. We then tucked this inside the bottle. Finally we measured centimetres up the side as our gauge. We also filled our water cycle projects with water and hung them in a sunny place where we could watch. It is busy work being a meteorologist!

What busy little beavers! We have such fun learning in room 9. Aren't we lucky children to have a great teacher.
