Today the Koalas worked independently reading about Outram and then completing a fact file to share with the class. We were really interested in their information. Did you know there used to be a train running to Outram? Did you know that Outram was the first town with electric lights?

People used the ferry to cross the Taieri river.
The person that drove the ferry was my Great Great
Grandad .
Outram is on state highway 87.
Outram was damaged by a flood. It moved Outram further away from the river.
