We gathered outside this morning to take part in another cause and effect experiment. We wrapped baking soda in a paper towel and made a small parcel. We then put vinegar into a snap lock plastic bag and closed the bag. Finally we slipped the baking soda into the bag, gave it a shake and watched. The combination of the vinegar and baking soda made carbon dioxide which inflated the bag.
