Plastic wrapper free lunch boxes

On Thursday we found out how many plastic wrappers we have in our lunch boxes. Today as a challenge we had plastic wrapper free lunch boxes. Look closely at the clever ways these lunch boxes have been filled. Great effort everyone and remember you can use your containers again! Reduce, REUSE, recycle!

Thank you, thank you, Room 9.
I am always so pleased when humans think about how they treat me.

I am VERY ENCOURAGED by what you and your teacher did last week. Plastic is a great invention BUT some of it is not necessary, especially that stuff called "plastic food wrapping".
I am HUGELY HAPPY that some children at Outram School showed that lunch food CAN be wrapped in recyclable containers.

I hope you will let more members of your school know how it can be done.

Please keep on reducing, re-using and recycling; knowing that you care about me and my future makes me sleep with a smile on my face:)
