Look at those hands!

Today Mrs Wright came back from her travels in the Middle East. She had patterns drawn on her hands with henna.

Hello Mrs Wright
Your hands look amazing. What a great trip!
I am Mrs McKenzie and I have a Year 2/3 class at Reefton Area School on the West Coast of NZ. We have been writing our blog just this year, in fact it was your Room 9 blog that inspired me to start, after it was featured in the Interface magazine.
Would the children in Room 9 like to be blog buddies with us? We have been enjoying meeting classes from lots of places.

Dear Mrs McKenzie and Class B4
We would love to be blog pals with your class. How would we arrange it? We love blogging in Room 9 and it is good to make friends of the same age at another school.
Let us know your ideas.
Love from Room 9

Dear Room 9
You have had a lot of exciting things going on in your class this year!
We have put a link to Room 9 on our blog page. One of our reading time activities is for the children to comment on our blog page or one of the others that we follow. (There may sometimes be spelling mistakes, but that is part of the learning!).
We have also Skyped with another class which was a lot of fun.
We also have a VoiceThread on our 'Meet Us" page, that we hope other children will leave comments on about their own town.
I wonder what other ideas you might have?
