The Paper plane triathlon

We talked about input and output. Our planes needed a lot of input to make them fly well. They needed a good design, strong paper, a good thrower and plenty of testing. Our bodies need a lot of input to make them work well. Who can tell us what our body needs.
Finally the triathlon began. There were three events - the longest throw, the longest float and the target event. Our winners were Ben, Dylan and Charlotte and Jackie.
We then found a partner and together decided which plane to use. "Why don't we make the wings wider Josh?" We took them outside to see if our designs worked and if they didn't we changed our designs.

On Friday we are having a triathlon at Outam School. Today we decided to have a paper plane triathlon. First we all made our favourite paper plane.
