Today we had a fun game with our algebra. In small groups we made up patterns with three or more variables. The rest of the class had to spot the pattern. We then invited children to join the pattern and stand in the correct position. What fun!

There weren't just patterns with three or four variables. Some of the patterns had five or six variables.
