Last weekend I flew down to Stewart Island in a tiny plane. Gosh what a beautiful island and what amazing birds everywhere. Can you name the birds in these photos? Stewart Island is a big island there are lots of fantastic birds

Most people come to Stewart Island from hiking and bird watching.
I bet you there are more then 100 native brids on stewart island.
if your walking the tracks the department of servaition provides huts for over night walkers
Stewart Island is New zland's therd largest island.
In Maori Stewart Island is known as Rakiura which means the land of glowing skies.
