The solar oven has begun!

Today we began the solar oven. The Seals reading group painted the two pizza boxes black. Now we are ready for the next stage. Keep watching!

New classroom

Oh what a feast!

Yesterday, Gene brought some wonderful bird food and a net to hang it in. The wax eyes think it is delicious. Do you know what the food is? Why not try guessing?

Fishy Art

Today we had our second session on our tropical fish. In the first lesson we studied photos and made many sketches. We chose our favourite sketch to make into our models. Today we painted the background designs. Next we will add all the details and that will be especially fun.

Brilliant Creations

This week for our "extra for experts" task we experimented to see what we could make out of an egg carton. Well done children.

You were noticed making a difference!

Today Mason found plastic rubbish in the hedge and he put it in the bin. At lunchtime Mrs Mac noticed Gene picking up rubbish. You are great role models boys. Thank you!

How high can you go Gene?

What a great activity for a wet lunch time Gene. Why not measure it and we could have a competition to see who can go the highest.

Three more brilliant prepared talks

Today we had three more prepared talks. Gene shared about his holiday at Glendu Bay while Ben talked about his soccer team and Riley shared about his busy weekend. Thank you boys we really enjoyed your talks.

Precious Things!

As part of our inquiry unit we wrote about something that was precious to us. Today Ben and Gene brought their precious friends to school. We loved meeting them boys.
