The Exciting Playtime

At lunch time me Callum and Gene were playing in the play ground. We were looking for smashed eggs and we only found one. Tomorrow I hope we find ten egg shells.

The solar oven has begun!

Today we began the solar oven. The Seals reading group painted the two pizza boxes black. Now we are ready for the next stage. Keep watching!

Spacecrafts ready for blast off!

First we drew careful plans for our spacecraft and then we built them using a wonderful assortment of materials from the workshop. Mmm .... are they heading to the International Space Station?

The Surprise for Outram

In the holidays my Dad drove to the Outram hall. Outram was having the beer fest again .

Extra for experts: What is spring like at your place?

Joe emailed a brilliant slide show to Room 9 showing how beautiful his garden is in spring. Joe took the photos and wrote comments beneath them. What a great effort!

A new ukulele player

Already Joe knows three chords and we were able to sing along with him today. Can you write a comment Joe and tell us the name of your ukulele. Clever Joe is learning both the guitar and the ukulele. Which one is easier Joe?

What an Expert you are Joe

This week our extra for experts task was to make 3D creature from the coral reef. Joe brought this wonderful crab which has sat happily on our theme table without scuttling for cover. What an expert!

This evening, Ella-Rose, Gabby and Joe will present their poems at the Senior Syndicate Speech Night. We know you will be great children!

The Allen Centre is brilliant

Every Wednesday we have a special library time in the Allen Centre and we LOVE it. There are always new books to find and share and there is always a quiet corner to curl up with a new book. Ah bliss!

Recycling Success for Joe

When we went to the recycling depot we found that tetra packs cannot be recycled. Joe found a great use for his tetra pack and look how well the mustard is growing. You are a recycling champion Joe!

Disney Land in Hong Kong
