Today we returned to our Kitchen Chemistry experiments. We have had such fun with this unit. Today we had a selection of white substances. First we had to use our senses to describe the substances. We discovered that we had sugar, salt, flour, citric acid and cream of tartar. We heated each substance and observed some very different results.
