Emily emailed me a photo of her sunflower. It is growing so well that Emily had to put it into a bigger pot. She also gave her sunflower a stick to help support it. What a great gardener you are Emily. We are wondering how all the other sunflowers are getting on. Happy holidays everyone.

Emily's super sunflower!
Emily emailed me a photo of her sunflower. It is growing so well that Emily had to put it into a bigger pot. She also gave her sunflower a stick to help support it. What a great gardener you are Emily. We are wondering how all the other sunflowers are getting on. Happy holidays everyone.

Are you having a good holiday? I was gardening this morning and I got soaked by a huge rain storm. I couldn't believe how much water was pouring down the drains as I drove home. Hope you are keeping dry and warm.
That was a very good idea Emily. Your sunflower will be VERY pleased to have more room for its roots in that larger pot.
I'm glad to see it's inside at the moment. It wouldn't like the snow and frosty weather of this weekend!
Do you think you had better start looking for a bigger stick, because that sunflower will grow quite tall? Hope to see another photo in a couple of weeks.

Are you having a great holiday? I am up in Christchurch with all the other teachers. We are attending a big conference where we are learning so many exciting things. See you on Monday.
Now my sunflower is so tall that we will have to put it in a bucket with a biger stick!I think it will take 6 weeks befor it is taller than me.
