Our Room 9 blog has been entered into a nation wide competition and guess what? We are in the final five! The winner will be announced in November. Room 9 watch us shine!

This is a great award and one that you absolutely deserve to be nominated for, I only found this site through the nominations but the work that's gone into it is huge, and you've done fantastically well as have your students. Mr Webb, Room 8, Melville Intermediate School, Hamilton, Waikato.

I love the photos of all the different things that happen in your room (and outside). There were even great photos from the other side of the world when Mrs Wright was away. Oh goody! I hope there's a prize! Room 9 shines because yesterday Amy and Shakera came over and when Shakera went home me and Amy proved that Room 9 shined by using a torch each and waving it around the room.

Hi Alex Yes it is very exciting to be in the top five blogs in New Zealand. I am in Christchurch with all the teachers at a huge conference. There are over 2000 people here! I'm looking forward to hearing about your trip. Take care!
