What an adventure we had today! We set off in cars and traveled to the top of the Friends' Hill track so that we could view and sketch our turangawaewae. The heat was TERRIFIC! After eating our lunch we sat and did our first sketch looking down over the Taieri. We continued walking down, stopping two more times to sketch the view. We could even see Green Island and the Pacific Ocean. We certainly live in a very beautiful part of New Zealand.

I had fun on the walk but it was very hot.
